I think just about anyone can be happy at a big school. Smaller schools are where you might run into a problem because escape is more difficult.Carlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01428539179552096078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4391335904890951481.post-90527144835845758572012-03-07T14:06:34.121-05:002012-03-07T14:06:34.121-05:00I really like how you broke down your college opti...I really like how you broke down your college options based on a specific interest. I think it's a great way to make a big decision seem less scary and it is definitley college app time, so I'll be sure to pass this advice alongMarriam Shahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02170651249926322276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4391335904890951481.post-10609885527766627902012-03-06T19:48:25.481-05:002012-03-06T19:48:25.481-05:00I was the same as equestrianathart. My horses were about a half hour away so I could keep my pony in shape. I also went to my college because it had a riding program. Did not get to experience IHSA, but did get some great ride time and earned credits toward phyical education. I did have to pay extra money to the barn hosting the riding, so the last year I had to cut back.Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13675631291488697042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4391335904890951481.post-1404176080032524362012-03-04T23:51:03.282-05:002012-03-04T23:51:03.282-05:00I picked my school because I was staying local in ...I picked my school because I was staying local in order to keep my horse and I didn't want to go to a big university so the small liberal arts school won the battle. And I got some pretty decent scholarship money.Hillaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02884053627728391449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4391335904890951481.post-61625460391032247772012-03-04T22:27:08.145-05:002012-03-04T22:27:08.145-05:00I wanted to be an equine vet, but I got scared off...I wanted to be an equine vet, but I got scared off by the extra schooling. It was just a very weird way of organizing a barn that didn't make a lot of sense to me and resulted in a lot of lame horses.Carlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01428539179552096078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4391335904890951481.post-54539868451000111032012-03-04T17:04:50.306-05:002012-03-04T17:04:50.306-05:00Will you post about the off-campus riding club, or...Will you post about the off-campus riding club, or is that better shared in person?!sallyandhorseshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06268484065858475412noreply@blogger.com
