My first saddle!

I also wanted to share that my saddle arrived today!!! Now the nerves set in. Will it fit?

I am a bit concerned that the pen doesn't settle exactly in the middle. And that the saddle may be even older than I am since the flap notes that it was made in West Germany! However it has aged VERY well if so. I emailed Passier with the ID number to find out more.

"This only looks marginally edible."

But I adore the color and how it feels when I put it on the back of the couch to sit on. It's not a really cushy seat, but it encourages you to sit very straight on your seatbones without clamping you in a death grip.

I just hope I didn't make a total noob-ish mistake by succumbing to the English Tack Trader group! I knew it was a gamble but here's hoping it works out.
